AVROP Programs & Services

 

The Antelope Valley Regional Occupational Program offers Career-Technical Education for adults, as well as students attending high school within theAntelope Valley Union High School District.

 

 

Secondary Education 

  • The AVUHSD/AVROP high school Career-Technical Education pathways offer 9th through 12th grade AVUHSD students the opportunity to gain the 21st Century skills needed for college and career readiness. In addition, six California Partnership Academies at various high school sites within the district have been established in the fields of Education, Health Careers, Law & Government, Agriculture & Environmental Science, Digital Design & Engineering, and Sustainable Technologies.  

Post-Secondary Education 

  • The diverse adult education and training programs offer students the opportunity to gain knowledge and learn skills aligned with current industry standards. All of the programs incorporate a hands-on learning approach  to give students the confidence needed to be successful; many also have related internship opportunities. The instructors are industry-trained experts in their field as well as holding a California state teaching credential in their industry sectors.
